In that window you have to fulfil the following data
Model: Insert a name for that model of tank
Supplier: Insert the supplier of the tank (this is a compulsory data)
Select Dimension Type: If this option is chosen, another window appears. This window
shows the three possible predefined models: parallelepiped, horizontal cylinder and
vertical cylinder. In each option, the main parameters are requested.
Capacity: Once you have inserted the dimension type, the capacity will appear
automatically.
Gauging Scales: Once you have inserted the dimension type, the gauging scale will
appear automatically.
Select Management Type: You can choose either the tank is used for fresh product or
waste product.
Apart from the icon
you will see another two icons
If you press
a pop up window appears and you will be able to change the
parameters of the tank that has already been selected.
If you press
a pop up window appears and the system asks for a *.cuv table
where the height and volume relationship is defined. This file has to be created and
exported by the UTrack.
UTank: It sets if the tank is controlled by a UTank or not.
If the tank is not controlled by an UTank (Select NO) you have to set the current level
of the product.
If the tank is controlled by an UTank (Select YES) you have to set the UTank and
channel in which the tank probe is connected. A drop-down menu will appear and it
will show several options like UTANK 00X/Y in which X represents the address of
UTank and Y represents the channel of probe in the UTank.
If you need to make a continuous measuring of the liquid level that in the tank, you
will have to choose VOLUMETRIC PROBE and you will have to set the pressure probe
setting for the probe that is inserted in this tank. As default, the Samoa standard
probes are set to 400 mBar.
If you only need to make a digital measurement (contact signal) you will have to
choose LEVEL SWITCH then you will have to set the warning messages.
Then you have to activate the warning messages for both cases.
Activate Level Warning: You have to set a warning level in which the system will show
a warning in the system with the text you can insert in the Warning level message
option.
Activate Stop Level: You have to set a Stop level in which the system will show a
warning in the system with the text you can insert in the Stop level message option. In
this case, once this level is reached, the system will not allow delivering the product.
This level has to be set so that the pump does not suck air.
