Connect the negative pole of the application's DC link output with
"–DC"
(black terminal) on the Dynamic Energy Storage Unit.
Connect the application's brake chopper
output to "BR"
(grey terminal) on the Dynamic Energy Storage Unit.
The brake chopper output has the switched negative voltage from the DC link.
Please note:
This step is not required for a "fixed setting of operating voltage on the DC link".
Connect the positive pole of the application's DC link output with
"+DC"
(red terminal) on the Dynamic Energy Storage Unit.

Connect the power to the DC link.
After about 10 seconds, the indicator LED
(as the energy increases, it will flash faster).
Dynamic Energy Storage Unit is connected to the DC link.

Connecting two or more Dynamic Energy Storage Units in parallel

Several Dynamic Energy Storage Unit may also be connected to the DC link in par-
allel by the "–DC" (black), "BR" (grey) and "+DC" (red) terminals. For procedure, see

Chapter 5.1).
