2.5 Description of function
The VORTEX with its metal chamber and cyclone twist prin-
ciple guarantees that medication is dispensed reliably in
metered quantities. It is used to minimise coordination mis-
takes when using metered dose inhalers.
With a flexible connecting ring it can be used with all standard
metered dose inhalers.

2.7 Operating life
Replace the VORTEX regularly according to usage:
When used in the home environment
The VORTEX should be replaced after 60 disinfection cycles, if
used daily after not more than a year.
When used in the medical environment
The VORTEX should be replaced after it has been prepared
hygienically for re-use 30 times, at the latest after not more
than a year.
