Immediately unplug the appliance if you see dark smoke
coming out of the appliance. Wait for the smoke
emission to stop before you remove the pan from the
appliance.
To prevent food contact with the interior upper screen
and heating element, DO NOT OVERFILL the Food
Basket
NEVER POUR oil into the Food Basket. Fire and
personal injury could result.
While cooking, the internal temperature of the Unit
reaches 370 degrees Celsius. TO AVOID PERSONAL
INJURY, never place hands inside the Unit unless it is
thoroughly cooled.
When in operation, air is released through the Air Outlet
Vent. KEEP YOUR HANDS AND FACE at a safe
distance from the Air Outlet Vent. Also avoid the air while
removing the Food Basket from the appliance.
The Unit's outer surfaces may become hot during use.
The Food Basket WILL BE HOT. WEAR OVEN MITTS
(not provided) or use the tongs (not provided) when
handling hot components. Wear oven mitts (not
provided) when handling hot surfaces.
Should the Unit emit black smoke, UNPLUG IMMEDIATELY
and wait for the smoke to stop before removing contents of
the oven.
When time has run out, cooking will stop but the fan WILL
CONTINUE RUNNING for 20 secs. to cool down the Unit.
Always operate the appliance on a horizontal surface that is
level, stable, and noncombustible.
The cooking and drip tray becomes hot all over when it
is used in the air fryer oven. Always use oven gloves
(not provided) when handling the trays.
If the appliance is used improperly or for professional or
semiprofessional purposes or if it is not used according
to the instructions in the user manual, the guarantee
becomes invalid and refuses any liability for damage
caused.
Always unplug the appliance after use.
Let the appliance cool down for approx. 30 minutes
before handling, cleaning, or storing.
Make sure the ingredients prepared in this appliance
come out golden yellow instead of dark or brown.

temperature above 180°C (to minimize the production of
acrylamide).

Check that the non-stick coated cooking basket is
securely fitted before use. Not doing so will prevent the
air fryer from operating.

Only hold the cooking compartment by the cooking
basket handle.
Take care when removing the non-stick coated cooking
basket, as steam may be emitted.
Before initial use and after subsequent use, hand wash
the Food Basket and other accessories. Then, wipe the
outside and inside of the Unit with a warm moist cloth
and mild detergent. Finally, preheat the Unit for a few
minutes to burn off any residue.
Do not:
Invert the non-stick cooking basket with the cooking
compartment still attached, as excess oil may collect at
the bottom of the cooking compartment.
Cover the hot air fryer or its air inlets, as this will disrupt
the airflow and could affect the frying results.
Fill the cooking compartment with oil or any other liquid.
Touch the cooking compartment during or straight after
use, as it gets very hot; only hold the cooking
compartment by the handle.

Electrical safety

Before use, check that the mains voltage corresponds to the
voltage on the rating plate.
This product must be earthed. Always check

plug in any way.
Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (Class 1)

Overheating Protection

Should the inner temperature control system fail, the
overheating protection system will be activated and the Unit
will not function. Should this happen, unplug the power cord.
Allow time for the Unit to cool completely before restarting or
storing.

Automatic Shut-Off

The appliance has a built in shut-off device, that will
automatically shut down the Unit when the Timer LED
reaches zero. You can manually switch off the appliance by
selecting the Power Button. The fan will continue running for
about 20 secs. to cool down the unit.
After use
Switch off, remove the plug from the socket and let the
appliance cool down before leaving it unattended and
before changing, cleaning or inspecting any parts of the
appliance.
