3.3 Options

3.4 Operation

The process of the machine begins at the soil bin, which is filled with substrate. Substrate is transported with the
substrate conveyor to the elevator.
The elevator takes over substrate and puts it into the hopper. A capacitive sensor measures the level of the
spreading substrate in the hopper. A spreading conveyor is located at the bottom of the hopper which spreads
substrate or pebbles on trays if there is passing by trays. The pilots guide the excess substrate back to the substrate
bin. Trays are transported on a separate conveyor belt below the spreading conveyor.
The width is adjustable for different trays, so the machine can be used for different tray sizes.
The machine is equipped with wheels, which makes the machine easy to move.

3.5 Machine workstations

This machine has two operator places; at the conveyor belt, both the inlet and the outlet on the side of the substrate
bin.
