5.3. Transport: Folding down or removing the
intermediate sub-frame
For transportation, the Intermediate sub-frame can be
folded down to save space.
1. Undo the clamp lever (B) and detach the metal bracket
connected to the clamp lever from the steering head.
2. Pull the locking bolt to the left out of its lock position
and rotate it 90°.
3. Fold the intermediate sub-frame (A) upwards.
4. Undo the catch of the locking bolt (C) by rotating it
approx. 90° again so that it can lock into place and fix
the intermediate sub-frame in the folded position.

When unfolding the intermediate sub-frame make sure
that the metal lever of the clamping bracket is correctly
mounted on the steering head afterwards.
In order to remove the intermediate sub-frame completely,
you can remove the quick-release bolts (D), by holding
the button (E) pressed down and pulling the quick-release
bolts to the right out of the steering head. After you have
pulled the locking bolt out of its catch, you can remove the
intermediate sub-frame.
Fit by following the instructions in reverse order.

• When refitting the intermediate sub-frame, make sure
that the quick-release bolts are locked properly
• When unfolding the intermediate sub-frame make sure
that the metal lever of the clamping bracket is correctly
mounted on the steering head afterwards.

6.1. Brakes

The pulling device has two brakes:
• a mechanical disk brake which is operated by a brake
lever on the handlebar (A) (left)
• an electrical brake, which is operated using the
operating paddle on the handlebar (B) (left). The
electrical brake only works when the pulling device is
switched on and ready for use.
