Fault
Meaning
code
45
The PROFIsafe driver has detected a
H
discrepancy in the CRC length.
46
The PROFIsafe driver has detected an
H
incorrect version of the F-parameters or
an invalid F_Block_ID.
47
The PROFIsafe driver has detected
H
inconsistent F-parameters.
48
The PROFIsafe driver has received
H
inconsistent fail-safe parameters.
4B
The PROFIsafe driver has detected
H
inconsistent iParameters.
4C
The PROFIsafe driver has detected an
H
incorrect Block ID.
4D
The PROFIsafe driver has detected a CRC
H
error.
Possible causes:
•
The communication between F-CPU
and F-module is interrupted.
•
Impermissibly high electromagnetic
interference is present.
•
An error has occurred during the sign-
of-life monitoring.
4E
The PROFIsafe driver has detected a
H
timeout.
Possible causes:
•
The F-monitoring time is set
incorrectly.
•
A bus fault is present.
4F
A channel fault was detected. A
H
confirmation is required to enable the
channel.
103
Possible causes:
H
•
An impermissibly high
electromagnetic interference is
present.
•
The F-module has detected an internal
error and reacted to it in a safety-
oriented manner.
11B
The firmware is incomplete and/or
H
firmware added to the F-module is
incompatible. This leads to errors or
functional limitations when operating the
F-module.

Remedy
Check the parameter assignment of the
PROFIsafe driver.
Check the parameter assignment of the
PROFIsafe driver.
•
Check the communication link
between the F-module and the F-
CPU.
•
Eliminate the cause of the
electromagnetic interference.
•
Check the parameter assignment.
•
Make sure that your
communication is operating
correctly.
Confirm the channel fault.
•
Correct the fault. The module must
then be pulled and plugged, or the
power switched OFF and ON.
•
If the F-module cannot be put into
operation anymore, consider a
replacement.
•
Perform a firmware update for all
parts of the F-module and note any
error messages.
•
Use only firmware versions released
for this F-module.
