2 . SYSTEM M ESSAGES
System messag es are the data related to the o verall system
o f the device.
Syste m Ex clusiv e M e ssa ge s
System Exclusive messag es co ntro l vario us functio ns o f the
AN 1 x, including master vo lume and master tuning , effect
type and vario us o ther parameters.
M a st e r Vo lum e
W hen received, the Vo lume MSB will be effective fo r
the System Parameter.

Activ e Se nsing
O nce FE (Active Sensing ) has been received, if no MIDI
data is subsequently received fo r lo ng er than an interval o f
appro ximately 3 0 0 msec, the AN 1 x will perfo rm the same
functio n as when All So unds O ff, All N o tes O ff, and Reset
All Co ntro llers messag es are received, and will then return
to a status in which FE is no t mo nito red.

Control Cha nge M odes
The AN 1 x has two Co ntro l Chang e mo des. Mo de 1
co rrespo nds to the list o f Co ntro l Chang e parameters
acco rding to the MIDI standard. Mo de 2 is a special list o f
Co ntro l Chang e parameters unique to the AN 1 x.
