Settings:
poly:
Yo u can play maximum 1 0 no tes po lypho ny when

mono:
Plays o ne (mo no pho nic) no te.
lega t (Lega to):
Plays o ne (mo no pho nic) no te, and pro vides
fo r leg ato phrasing , o r so lo passag es played witho ut any
perceptible interruptio n between no tes. L eg ato o ccurs when
yo u press the next key befo re releasing the preceding key.

(Porta mento)
The Po rtamento mo de setting determines the
characteristics o f the po rtamento (so metimes called
g lissando ), o r ho w the to ne g lides fro m o ne to ne to the
next thro ug h all the intermediate pitches, when the
PEG / L FO Po rtamento Time (see pag e 5 6 ) is set to a
value o ther than " 0 " . Available parameters depend o n
the Po ly mo de setting .
To enable the Portamento function, press the [ PORTAMENTO] switch on the panel
( see page 2 4 ) . If the PEG/ LFO Portamento Time parameter ( see page 5 6 ) is set
to " 0 " , Portamento will have no effect.

W ith this setting , the Ho ld to ne (by a sustain pedal)
is specified as the starting pitch o f the po rtamento .
W hen Poly = M ono, Lega to:

Po rtamento is o nly enabled by leg ato
perfo rmance.
full tim e:
Po rtamento is always enabled.
The Portamento setting mode here is effective and can be heard when the panel
[ PORTAMENTO] switch is set to " ON" .
LFO Rst
(LFO Reset)
The L FO Reset mo de setting determines the start po int
o f the L FO 1 and L FO 2 cycle.
Settings:
off:
L FO 1 and L FO 2 do no t reset, but mo dulate co ntinuo usly.
k y-on (Key O n):
L FO 1 and L FO 2 reset every time a key is
pressed.
Ctrl M a trix
Co ntro l Matrix (" Ctrl Matrix" ) parameter setting s
determine which MIDI Co ntro l Chang e number
" so urce" co ntro ller (eig ht panel CO N TRO L kno bs,
Mo dulatio n W heel, Fo o t Co ntro ller, Ribbo n-X,
Keybo ard After T o uch, etc.) is assig ned to co ntro l
which AN 1 x " parameter" (VCF Cuto ff, Reso nance,
FEG Depth, Variatio n Effect W et:Dry balance, etc.).
The Co ntro l Matrix g ives yo u the freedo m to co nfig ure
so urces and parameters fo r each vo ice. Yo u can, fo r
example, co nfig ure the AN 1 x to use After T o uch to
apply vibrato , o r the Mo dulatio n W heel to chang e the
reso nance while yo u play, determine the rang e fo r bo th
Pitch Bend up and do wn, and much mo re.
The Co ntro l Matrix is a co nfig uratio n o f 1 6 sets o f
co ntro l setup parameters and 2 sets o f co mmo n
parameters. The 1 6 parameter sets apply to each
Scene and the co mmo n parameters apply to the vo ice.
Each set co nsists o f Set N umber, Parameter, So urce,
and Depth parameters.
A blank chart is available for writing down Parameter and Source settings of the
Control Matrix; see page 1 1 4 .
