Installation of escape door locking system 352M

Preparation for mounting
3 Create the lock pocket at a suitable mounting position (Fig. 4).
4 Finish the holes for the fixing screws (Fig. 4, Fig. 8).
5 Clean the lock pocket and all holes by blowing or vacuuming them clean.
 The lock pocket is now ready for mounting the device.
Electrical connections
1 Connect the control cable (voltage supply) and the monitoring contacts (see
installation and mounting instructions for the escape door system).

Attention!
Ensure the lock is correctly aligned to the striking plate: When mounting,
ensure that the escape door locking system is correctly aligned with the striking
plate and the contacts face one another. otherwise, the sensor system will not
work.
The escape door locking system 352M sensor system requires the lock counter-
part and lock to be positioned precisely.
The tolerance is ±4.5 mm in a vertical direction and depends on the rebate gap
in a horizontal position due to the wedge-shaped bolt (Fig. 4).
1 Screw the escape door locking system 352M into the lock pocket (Page 44ff).
 When the lock counterpart is mounted, the escape door locking system 352M
is ready for operation.
