Effective April 1, 1998, all products carry a 2-year limited warranty. Within 2 years of purchase, Kontron will repair or replace, at our option, any defective product. Kontron will service the warranty for all standard catalog products for the first two years from the date of shipment.

By using this software and following these steps, you can eliminate most common problems without calling Technical Support. However, you do not need to add a terminator resistor to your cables when you use the SUPERFASTCOM-CP . The termination resistance is built in. We have installed a terminator resistor for each receiver: between each RD+ and RD- and between CTS+ and CTS- for each channel.

Buffering a high-speed data stream is critical in order to maintain data integrity and reliability, to avoid data loss, and to prevent data overrun. The SUPERFASTCOM-CP does all this with minimal system processor involvement, therefore there is no reduction in processor performance due to data communication overhead.
