3.4 PST Mode

M2 can be connected to 2 preview displays with HDMI connectors, and the preview has the
functions as below:

3.4.1 Signal Selection

Press any button in Input Sources Area, for example, Press the button [5], the button is lit
(yellow), and the signal in PGM monitor will be changed to signal 5.

3.4.2 Add or Delete Layer

Press any button of [A], [B], [C] and [D] in Layer Selection Area to add, delete or change a layer.
When a layer is in use but cannot be edited, the light is lit.
When a layer is selected and can be edited, the light flashes.
When a layer is not in use, the light is off.
Note:
In different system modes, [A]-[D] refers to different layer. Refer to
System
Mode.

3.4.3 Freeze the Layer

(1) Freeze a PST layer
Press the FREEZE button, and the layer displaying in PST will be frozen. User can use CUT, TAKE or
T-BAR to swap the frozen layer to PGM. Press the FREEZE button again, and the frozen layer in
PST becomes live again. The FREEZE function does NOT happen to PST and PGM synchronously.
(2) Freeze a PGM layer
Take PIP (two layers) for example. Follow the steps as below:
- Press the shortcut button to enable multiview (PIP);
- Select the signal source for the background layer and sublayer;
- Use CUT, T-bar or TAKE to swap the PIP to PGM;
