Gilson's Complete Pipetting System
Your protocols and experiments require more than just generic pipette tips. Indeed, tips
are essential components of your pipetting system. According to ISO 8655-2*:
"The maximum permissible errors always apply to the total system of piston pipette
and tip. When using pipette tips not delivered by the pipette supplier, the supplier
declaration or certificate of conformity does not apply".
*ISO 8655 is an international standard for "piston operated apparatus". It defines, among other things, terms and
definitions regarding piston operated pipettes and their testing, testing procedure and maximum permissible errors.
