4. Remove the blast shield.
6.16.2 To remove the fan bearings
• To remove the bearings you can use a Husqvarna
bearing press for the fan bearings. Refer to
Servicing tools overview on page 12 . You can also
use a standard press.
6.16.2.1 With a Husqvarna bearing press
Use a Husqvarna bearing press. See
overview on page 12 .
1. Put an extension and a 13mm socket in a vise.
There must be a minimum of 40mm from the top of
the socket to the jaws of the vise.
2. Apply some drops of oil to the threads on the screw.

3. Assemble the tool. Make sure that the sleeve in the
Servicing tools
4. Remove them from the tool.
bearing set is turned as in the picture. Pull out the
first bearing and the seal.
