9.1 Chassis

9.1.1 To remove the covers
9.1.1.1 To open the engine cover
1. Fold the seat forward.
2. Release the clip on the engine cover with the tool
attached to the ignition key.
3. Fold the engine cover rearward.
9.1.1.2 To remove the front cover
1. Release the clip on the front cover with the tool
attached to the ignition key.
2. Lift off the front cover.
9.1.1.3 To remove the right footrest plate
1. Turn the knob on the reverse pedal (A) to remove it.
2. Remove the 4 screws (B) and remove the footrest
plate.

9.1.1.4 To remove the left footrest plate
• Remove the 4 screws and remove the footrest plate.
9.1.1.5 To remove the right side cover
1. Remove the right footrest plate. Refer to
the right footrest plate on page 19 .
Note: 2 of the screws of the footrest plate also hold
the right side cover.
2. Remove the 2 screws and remove the right side
cover.
9.1.1.6 To remove the transmission cover
• Remove the 2 screws and remove the transmission
cover.
