Steps
1. Align the numbering on the processor fan and heat-sink assembly with the numbering on the system board.
2. In the sequential order (1->2->3->4), tighten the captive screws that secure the processor fan and heat-sink assembly to the system
board.
3. Connect the processor-fan cable from the system board.

Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in
CAUTION:
The heat sink may become hot during normal operation. Allow sufficient time for the heat sink to cool
before you touch it.
CAUTION:
For maximum cooling of the processor, do not touch the heat transfer areas on the heat sink. The oils in
your skin can reduce the heat transfer capability of the thermal grease.
NOTE:
The voltage regulator heat sink is shipped as a separate unit and it does not ship along with the system board.
Ensure to replace the voltage regulator heat sink from old system board to the new system board. Voltage regulator
is required for computers that are shipped with the following processors:
