Maintenance

5.1

Maintenance table

Task
Clean the flame simulator
(see chapter 5.2 on page 11)
Charge the batteries
(see chapter 5.3.1 on page 11)
5.2

Cleaning

Use a soft optical cloth to clean the reflector of the flame simulator.
Clean the simulator housing with clean water and a mild detergent.
Do not use a brush or sharp tools.
5.3

Maintenance work

Note: The required tools are part of the scope of supply.
5.3.1
Charging the batteries
WARNING
Danger of explosion!
► Do not charge the battery pack in areas subject to explosion
hazards. For charging, the battery pack should be removed from
the flame simulator.
The charging voltage must not be exceeded. Only use the
charger supplied with the flame simulator.
► Illustration on the fold-out page (Figure B)
1. Place the flame simulator on a table in a safe area, not exceeding
40 °C (104 °F).
2. Remove the stud screw (B-1).
3. Remove the back cover (B-2).
4. Remove the locking disc (B-3).
5. Pull the battery pack out of the flame simulator (B-4).
6. Connect the battery pack to the charger.
7. Charge for a maximum of 2 to 3 hours, until the green LED on the

charger turns on.
8. Disconnect the charger.

9. Insert the battery pack into the flame simulator.
10. Tighten the locking disc.
Every 6 months or
11. Tighten the back cover.

12. Lock the back cover with the stud screw.
5.3.2
Danger of explosion!
► Do not replace the battery pack in areas subject to explosion
hazards. Only use the battery pack specified in the order list (see
chapter 9 on page 14).

1. Place the flame simulator on a table in a safe area, not exceeding
40 °C (104 °F).
2. Remove the stud screw (B-1).
3. Remove the back cover (B-2).
4. Remove the locking disc (B-3).
5. Pull the battery pack out of the flame simulator (B-4).
6. Insert the new battery pack into the flame simulator.
7. Tighten the locking disc.
8. Tighten the back cover.
9. Lock the back cover with the stud screw.
