    WARNING Small parts of the instrument may become detached and be swallowed. ► The instrument is not intended for children under 3 years. Prerequisites for use The instrument is factory-calibrated when delivered. If the calibration date is longer ago than 12 months, the instrument should be calibrated, e.g.
  • Page 6 Carrying out a breath sample A new mouthpiece must be inserted for each test subject. Do not allow any high alcohol concentrations on the sensor, e.g. by rinsing the mouth with a high proof alcohol shortly before the measurement, as this will shorten the service life of the sensor. 1.
