Valve Replacement
Important: Always shut off gas supply/120 volt power prior to servicing the
gas valve.
1. T urn off unit and allow to cool to room temperature.
2. R emove outer enamel or steel panels—see instructions in the panel removal
section in this manual
3. R emove outer safety (barrier) and inner glass (firebox glass)–see instruc-
tions in this manual.
4. Remove all media and logs (if installed) — set aside.
5. Remove inner base panels--see panel section in this manual.

6. B end the arm of the aeration lever bracket up from 90° to straighten and

release aeration lever (lever will come with the burner).

7. R emove the trim cover on right side of burner by lifting off. Also remove the
burner surround by sliding to the left and lifting off.

8. L oosen 8 screws in locations shown below (2 at front and 2 at rear)—slide
burner to the left away from the orifice and lift out.

Slide burner to the left and lift out
9. Remove 8 screws in locations shown below.
10. L ift valve tray out partially and disconnect flexible gas connection on the
valve inlet side, remove valve tray- replace with new valve tray.
11. R everse Steps 7-1 to complete.
