Loopback
You can configure the loopback on the coherent DSP and ethernet controllers. The loopback can be performed
only in the maintenance mode. Use the controller controller-type secondary-admin-state maintenance
command to place the controllers in the maintenance mode.
Note Internal and line loopbacks are supported on the ethernet controllers whereas only internal loopbacks are
supported on the coherent DSP controllers.
Configuring Loopback on the 1.2T Card
To configure the loopback, use the following commands.
configure
controller controllertype Rack/Slot/Instance/Port
sec-admin-state maintenance
loopback [ line | internal ]
commit
Example
The following is a sample in which the line loopback is configured on the ethernet controller.
