ь Use completely unrolled and
safe extension cords with a
capacity of 16 Amps (UK 13
Amps)
ь Wear protective glasses and
gloves, hearing protection , a
dust mask, and sturdy shoes;
when necessary, also wear an
apron
ь Always mount auxiliary handle 2
and protective guard 3; never
use the tool without them
ь Be sure tool is switched off
when plugging in
DURING USE
ь Inrush currents cause short-time
voltage drops; under
unfavourable power supply
conditions, other equipment
may be affected (if the system
impedance of the power supply
is lower than 0,25 Ohm,
disturbances are unlikely to
occur)
ь Always keep the cord away from
moving parts of the tool; direct
the cord to the rear, away from
the tool
ь If the cord is damaged or cut
through while working, do not
touch the cord, but immediately
disconnect the plug; never use
the tool with a damaged cord
ь Keep hands away from rotating
accessories
ь When grinding metal, sparks are
generated; keep other persons
and combustible material from
work area
ь In case of electrical or
mechanical malfunction,
immediately switch off the tool
and disconnect the plug
ь In case the cutting disc is
blocked, resulting in jerking
forces on the tool, immediately
switch off the tool
ь In case of current interruption or
when the plug is accidentally
pulled out, unlock the on/off
switch immediately and put it in
the OFF-position in order to
prevent uncontrolled restarting
ь Do not apply so much pressure
on the tool that it comes to a
standstill
ь AFTER USE
ь Before you put down the tool,
switch off the motor and ensure
that all moving parts have come
to a complete standstill
ь After switching off the tool,
never stop the rotation of the
accessory by a lateral force
applied against it.
ь WHEN CONNECTING NEW 3-
PIN PLUG (U.K. ONLY):
ь Do not connect the blue (=
neutral) or brown (= live) wire in
the cord of this tool to the earth
terminal of the plug
ь If for any reason the old plug is
cut off the cord of this tool, it
must be disposed of safely and
not left unattended
USE
Start up
1. Ensure accessory is securely
tached to the collet before
plugging the power cord.
2. Grip tool firmly rotate power
switch to the ON position.
3. Adjust speed sing the speed
adjustment dial located at the
rear of the tool.
To select the right speed for each job,
use a practice piece of material Vary
speed to find the best speed for
accessory you are using and the job
can be done.
