6 VCA8613EVM Full-Access Software
6.1 Loading the software
Insert the CD−ROM included with the VCA8613EVM into the appropriate
CD−ROM drive on your PC and double click on Install.exe.
By using a PC to control the VCA8613, the entire device functionality is avail-
able for testing. The software provides the ability to select any of the attenua-
tion ranges and PGA gains, direct an input to any CW output, or power-down
the complete chip. Figure 2 through Figure 7 are screen shots from the pro-
gram with descriptions of how to use each feature.
6.2 Initial Startup Screen.
Figure 2 shows the initial startup screen.

The Please select a COM port. dialog box will appear on top of the initial startup
screen.

Click OK and the screen shot in Figure 4 will appear.
