7.8.1 About test patterns

Overview
This panel allows to manage test patterns of the projector.

Each test pattern displayed in this menu has a Name (reference 1). When a test pattern is selected the status
of the test pattern (reference 2) turns to Selected and its name is noticed on top of the list. On the status bar, a
icon blinks in green when a test pattern is activated.
Predefined patterns can be quickly selected via the shortcuts (e. g. Control panel in Web Commander
software). If a test pattern is associated to shortcut , the shortcut name (reference 3) is specified on the test
pattern.
Clicking on a test pattern (reference 4) in this list allows to show it in its expanded form and displays a
contextual menu.
Following actions are available in this menu:
•
Export (reference 5) copies the .PNG file in the Downloads directory of your computer.
•
Activate/Deactivate (reference 6) allows to display (/remove) the test pattern on (/from) the screen.
•
Create/Delete shortcut (reference 7) allows to associate (/unlink) test pattern to (/from) a shortcut.
•
Trash bin icon (reference 8) allows to remove test pattern from the list.
Clicking on Off TestPattern (reference 9) located on the top right of the list allows to deselect current test
pattern without retrieve it in the list.
Clicking on menu (reference 10) displays the test patterns general menu.
Following actions are available in this menu:
•
Import (reference 11) allows to import a test pattern (.PNG) alone (one single file), or a package of test
patterns (.tar) with several files inside.
•
Export (reference 12) creates a downloadable backup package that contains all test patterns selected,
then copies this package in the Downloads directory of your computer.
•
Delete (reference 13) allows to remove several test patterns selected in the list.
