Troubleshooting
Use this chapter to help troubleshoot issues with the Airnet II 4-Channel particle
sensor, such as power issues, communication messages, errors, leaks, and particle and
transient-induced counts.

Possible Cause
Try...
Power supply not
Check the seating of the power supply
connected to a power
cable in the unit.

Verify that the power supply is plugged
in.
Electrical power
Check the electrical outlet for power,

including any power strips or surge
protectors.
Power supply faulty
Try a different power supply.
If using PoE
Verify power is being supplied
Ethernet cable
Replace the Ethernet cable that connects

the sensor to an Ethernet hub.
Unit not configured
Re-configure the unit. First check the
correctly
sensor's IP Address and the computer's
IP Address.
Computer hardware
Substitute a computer with known good
or software problem
Ethernet capability.
Refer to your computer's Ethernet card
documentation to correct the fault.
Laser dead or
Check status response for detector
