1. Introduction

1.1 Customer Instructions
These operating instructions contain important
information on the safety, proper and economical
operation of the pump. Strict observation of the
operating instructions will help to avoid dangers,
reduce repair costs and shutdown times and
increase the reliability and working life of the
product.
The operating instructions must be read and
followed by all persons carrying out any
installation or work on the product - especially
the section on
Safety instructions. These
instructions must be available to maintenance
and repair personnel at all times. Always keep a
copy of these instructions in order to ensure
proper use and maintenance of the product.
Before starting operation or any repair work, first
read the relevant section which applies.

the necessary safety devices and precautions to
be taken. Personnel undergoing training or
instruction may only work under the continual
supervision of an experienced person.
Installation, dismantling, maintenance or repair
work may only be carried out by proper trained
specialist.
All other work on the product may be carried out
by trained personnel.
All responsibilities must be clearly defined and
demarcated. The legally specified minimum age
must be observed.
