Installing the
Oximeter Sensor

The connector end of the patient module cable connects to an interface
panel on the left side of the Vitalert 3000 or 3200. The finger sensor
connects to the patient module. The cable extension can be installed
between the patient module and the finger sensor for additional mobility.
To install the patient module and sensor, follow these steps, using the
figure below for reference:
1. Make sure the Vitalert monitor is unplugged.
2. Attach the cable to the interface panel by aligning the red dots and
inserting the cable connector into the panel socket.
3. Insert the sensor connector into the patient module socket and latch it
into place.
4. Fasten the patient module to a sheet or similar article using the clip
attached to the cable.
