Luma Key Settings - Datavideo DVK­100 Mk II Instruction Manual

The Luma Key settings for CAM­1 and CAM­2 will be at opposite ends of the scale, on CAM­1 we want to
remove white and on CAM­2 we want to remove black. Let's start with CAM­1.
Press the CAM­1 button on the front of the DVK­100, once pressed it should be
illuminated red.
Press the Chroma Key button and the Luma button, both should be illuminated red.
Luma Key has two modes and you will see if you press and hold the Luma button for
two seconds it flashes. If the button is constantly red it is in Mode 1, which is for
removing dark colours – If it is flashing it is in Mode 2, which is for removing light
colours. As CAM­1 has a white background that we want to remove, we need Luma
Mode 2, so press and hold the Luma button until it is flashing.
