Screen is blank and keyboard is working

Possible Cause
A screen timeout has been initiated.
Solution
Press any key to return information to the screen.
Possible Cause
QuickLock/QuickBlank has been initiated.
Solution
To reenable the keyboard and return your information to the
screen, enter your power-on password.

Embedded numeric keypad on computer keyboard

is disabled

Possible Cause
Num Lock function is not turned on.
Solution
Press Fn+Num Lk to enable the Num Lock function and embedded
numeric keypad.
Possible Cause
There is an external keyboard attached to the computer through
either the external keyboard connector or the USB connector.
Solution
Disconnect the external keyboard from the rear of the computer.
