Removable Drive Bays

The computer has two bays for removable drives:
A hard drive bay that supports only the primary hard drive.
A MultiBay that supports a diskette drive, CD-ROM drive,
secondary hard drive, or second battery pack.
The optional desktop expansion base has two bays:
A MultiBay that supports a diskette drive, CD-ROM drive,
second hard drive, or second battery pack.
A half-height bay that supports standard half-height drives and
can be converted to a MultiBay by installing a Half-Height
MultiBay Adapter.
The optional convenience base has a MultiBay that supports the
same devices as the computer MultiBay.
When the computer is docked in the expansion base or
convenience base and you want to use an assortment of removable
drives, certain drive configuration parameters apply.
An Armada 7000 Hard Drive MultiBay Adapter is required to use
a hard drive in a MultiBay.
