Power Save

Setting Power Save Mode reduces power consumption by turning off the CPU etc. inside the
machine. If Power Save Mode is switched ON, when the machine is idle and the scanner lamp is
turned off, it drops into power save mode automatically. In the Power Save Mode, you cannot use
fax detect function or remote activation.
The machine will not display the date and time in this condition.

Setting the Dialling Mode (Tone/Pulse) (Not available in New Zealand)

The machine is initially set to TONE. If you are using a PULSE dial line, you can change the setting
to PULSE by following the steps below.

Press Menu/Set, 1, 6. The screen prompts you to select TONE or PULSE.
