Sending Black & White Faxes
Automatic Transmission

Place the original face up in the Automatic
Document Feeder, or face down on the glass
platen.

Enter the fax number using Speed Dial,
Search or the dial pad.

Press Mono Fax Start.
Real Time Transmission
You can send faxes in real time.

Document Feeder, or face down on the glass

Press Menu/Set, 2, 2, 5.

Storing Numbers

Storing Speed Dial Numbers

Press Menu/Set, 2, 3, 1.

Enter a two-digit Speed Dial number and
press Menu/Set.

Enter a number (up to 20 digits) and press
Menu/Set.

Enter a name (or leave it blank) and press
Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
