Chapter 3: Quick Installation
The LeCroy USB2.0 Advisor™ Bus & Protocol Analyzer components and software are
easily installed and quickly ready to run on most personal computer systems. You can
begin making USB recordings after following these initial steps. However, if you are new
to personal computers and protocol Analyzers, if you are unsure about what to do after
reading the Quick Installation instructions, or if your Analyzer does not work after you
follow these instructions, read through the subsequent sections in this manual.
Step 1 Connect the AC power cable to the rear of the Analyzer.
Step 2 Connect the USB port on the back of the Analyzer to the PC for analysis by using
