Replacing the o-ring in the sonar cable connector

A cable with a 10-pin cable connector connects to the Sonar Head. When installing the M3
Sonar FLS, you must check if the o-ring is properly installed. If the o-ring is missing or
damaged, it will need to be replaced.
Prerequisites
Caution
Replacing o-rings must only be done by qualified personnel. An improperly installed o-ring
can result in catastrophic failure and permanently damage the underwater equipment.
The following included parts are used when replacing the o-ring.
• M3 Sonar FLS Sonar Head
• M3 Sonar FLS SEA CON ® cable with 10-pin connector
• Replacement o-ring (found in the accessory kit)
