CAUSE
The number you called does not
answer or is busy. Or, you may
have reached a number that is not
connected to a fax machine.
You tried to access a One
Touch or Speed Dial number
that is not programmed.
The available Ram has been
exceeded.
The recording paper is jammed Do not pull the paper out until
in the machine.
Toner cartridge is not installed. Reinstall the toner cartridge.
Toner is used up and printing is
not possible.
If the display shows CHANGE Order a new toner cartridge
TONER and at the same time now.
the Toner Empty LED on the
controlpanel flashes on and
off, you can still print. But
the toner is depleted and the
machine is telling you that
the toner will soon run out.
ACTION
Check the number and try again.
Set up the One Touch or Speed
Dial number. See chap. 7
• Press the FF/Cont to print
the data remaining in the
printer memory.
• If you have installed the

Windows
printer driver, try
again after setting the
TrueType mode to "Print as
Graphics" in the PRINT menu
of you application software.
• If this does not clear the error,
recuce the complexity of your
document or reduce the print
resolution.
