Important information

• Before cleaning the device, remove the power plug from the power supply.
• The directions given in this user's manual and the applicable regulations of the
hospital or nursing home must be adhered to when cleaning the device.
• Standard sterilization methods are not recommended for the device. Hygienic
preparation is described in the point 2hygiene concept.
• Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents (e.g., acetone).
• Do not immerse the device in water or solvents.
• Follow the accessory manufacturer's instructions about cleaning and disinfection.

Cleaning the device

Use in the home
Clean the device once a week. To do this, proceed as follows:
1. Unplug the mains plug.
2. Wipe the device with a cloth slightly dampened with soapy water.
3. Rub the device dry with a cloth.
Please note: Chemical cleaning products or solvents should not be used to clean the
surface of the device under any circumstances. They might damage the high gloss
finish of the device.
Clinical use
We recommend a nonalcoholic desinfectants for disinfecting the device's surface, e.g.
schülke mikrozid® sensitive wipe. Alternatively, you can also use approved disinfec-
tants. The device must be completely dry before starting it up.

Cleaning and Disinfection
Risk of infection from germs!
There is a risk of germs being transferred to other persons
from germ-infected devices.
Ö Disinfect the device surface regularly and whenever con-
tamination is suspected.
Risk of injury due to disinfectants!
Certain disinfectants can cause skin, eye or respiratory irritation.
Ö Do not use disinfectants which have an irritant effect.
