Instructions before commissioning

• A device that is not functioning properly may endanger the patient or the person
operating the device. If the device does not start properly, or if the self-tests
performed automatically on start-up fail to be completed successfully, the device
must not be used. Please notify the service company in such a case.
• Do not switch the device on if it has previously been in a very cold environment.
Wait about 1 hour to allow the temperature to adjust.
• Check the filter cassette regularly. Never use the device without the filter cassette.
• Clean your mask system regularly and check all accessories, particularly the therapy
tube, mask and headgear. When doing this, observe the manufacturer's safety
and cleaning instructions.
• Position the device in such a way that the power plug is easily accessible and can
be unplugged quickly in the event of a hazard.
• Do not use the device if the housing or cable of the device or power supply unit
is damaged.
