12.2 Pairing an external device
To pair an external device, for example a smartphone or tablet, with the
TECHNIRADIO 6 IR, follow these steps:
> Start Bluetooth mode as described in Section 12.1.
> Open the Main menu by pressing the MENU button and use the SELECT knob
to select [Bluetooth settings].
> Press the SELECT knob. The display will show [Bluetooth Please pair]
> Now start searching for nearby Bluetooth devices on your external device. You
may need to enable the Bluetooth feature on your external device first.
Please refer to the operating instructions for your external device to activate
the Bluetooth function and perform a search on your external device.
During the pairing process, both devices should be within 10 cm of each other.
If pairing fails, the TECHNIRADIO switches to standby mode after approx. 15
mins.
