7. Control elements of the transmitter

1 Telescopic aerial
If needed, the telescopic aerial can be screwed off for
transport.
2 Eyelet for carrying strap
3 Slide switch for CH1/reverse (steering)
If the steering response is exactly opposite to the
movement of the control wheel (8), you can reverse
the movement using the slide switch.
4 Slide switch for CH2/reverse (drive)
This reverses the response of the drive (forward/
reverse) to the lever (13).
5 Three LEDs (red, yellow, green) to indicate the battery
state
If all three LEDs are lit, the batteries are full.
If the green LED goes out (only red and yellow is lit),
the batteries are low and should be exchanged soon.
If only the red LED is lit, the batteries are empty and
must be exchanged.
6 Exchangeable crystal
The transmitter and the receiver must be equipped with
a crystal of the same frequency.
Transmitter crystals are usually labelled "TX". Recei-
ver crystals are usually labelled "RX". Do not mix up
the two crystals!
7 On/off switch
This slide switch turns the transmitter on or off. If the slide switch is moved towards the control wheel (8), the
transmitter is switched on. Never turn off the transmitter while the vehicle is in operation!
8 Control wheel for steering
9 Steering trim control
This trim control sets the directional stability of the vehicle. With the vehicle not moving, put the front wheels in a
straight position. A more precise setting of directional stability is carried out later when driving the vehicle.
10 Trim control for neutral position of the drive
To make sure the vehicle stops when the lever (13) is released, the neutral position can be set exactly using this
trim control.
