V. FINAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE SECTIONS
1. tighten lightly the backstay.
2. Let black feeder rest on drum.
3. Push up the sections in order to touch
the top terminal (Rep. 1).
4. insert a screw into the hole (Rep. 3)
and locate in the nearest pre-drilled
hole of the telescopic section.
Insert a second screw and tighten both.
Important: there must be at least a 30
mm space (Rep. 2) at the top of the
system.
5. tension backstay fully.
6. fit the furling line on the drum so that
it passes through the stainless steel
guide.
VI. IMPORTANT NOTES :
- You must have at least a space of 50 mm to 100
mm at the top of the system ( Rep. 2)
- Check the position of the black bearings :
• 2 black bearings below top cap.
• 1 black bearing above each connector.
• 1 black bearing above the telescopic section.
• 1 black bearing in the drum.
