5.3.4 Control parameter sets

For the HS5E(V)(L), you have the option of configuring and using up to four different
parameter sets. Using these parameter sets, it is possible to optimize the control
behavior of the HS5E(V)(L) to different connected oil volumes.

5.3.5 Special operating modes

In this chapter, we will describe specific applications. In these cases, the basic
operating modes are active (see page 24).
To start up the HS5E systems with an open circuit unit, it is not necessary to provide
hydraulic circuitry for classical depressurized start-up.
If no command values are specified for the pressure and swivel angle, virtually
load-free start-up is possible.
With a closed circuit unit, the swivel angle corresponding to the flow direction must
be preselected even if pressure control is run.
The HS5EV control system starts without load pressure with maximum swivel angle
(+100% V
). This may result in pressure peaks in the system until the system is

adjusted.
