Rail Kit Install Guide

The Intel® Storage System SSR212MA chassis is designed to be installed in cabinets that
are 19 in (483 mm) wide by up to 36 in (914 mm) deep. A set of rack mounting rails is
provided in this kit and will accommodate either square or round hole rack-mounting
methods.
When mounting the storage system into a cabinet, the front mount brackets are attached to
the front of the chassis and a set of rear support brackets are attached to the back of the
cabinet. This allows the weight of the system to be as evenly distributed as possible.

Rail Kit Installation Instructions

Warning: :Lifting the storage system and attaching it to the rack is a two-person operation. If
needed, use an appropriate lifting device.
