24. Slowly opened head valve to retrieve plug?
Head valve closed to check for leaks?
Reopened head valve?
Pump in retrieve mode until pressure build up in the retriever?
Checked for leaks around locking pins?
Online retrieval of device
25. Pumped additional strokes to verify that pressure stabilize at higher
level?
26. Are both balls on the service valve closed?
27. Both by-pass valves closed?
Upper ball opened? (verify function of lower ball)
28. Bleed off pressure in retrieval tool using the bleed off valve on the
retrieval tool? (using bucket and absorbent pads to catch fluid and to
prevent spillage)
Close bleed-off valve for 1-2 minutes and reopen to check for no
buildu p of pressure. Is there any pressure? (If pressure continues to
build, stop and see troubleshooting guide. Note 5.)
Upper ball closed?
29. Loosen hammer nut and remove retrieval tool making sure not to spill
any remaining fluid?
30. Pump set to install, and the plug assembly has been pumped out of the
retriever?
Correct guide/wear rings mounted on the plug? (replace if wrong type,
or damaged)
Online installation of device
31. Plug assembly retrieved into the retriever? (do not fully retract the rod
to the bottom of the retriever)
32. Checked O-ring in front of the retriever tool?
Mounted retrieval tool back onto the service valve and tightened the
hammer nut?
33. Is pump set to "install"?
Is the bleed valve on the retriever closed?
34. Has the upper by-pass valve been slowly opened, and then the upper
ball? (closest to retriever tool)
35. Has the lower by-pass valve been slowly opened, and then the lower
ball? (closest to the access fitting)
36. Is pressure balanced between the retriever and the line? (if not, see
troubleshooting guide. Note 6)
37. Once pressure is equalized check for leaks between service valve
and retrieval tool. Are there leaks? (If yes, stop and go to
troubleshooting guide. Note 6.)
Set the pump set to "install", and pumped up to minimum 100bar
above line pressure?
38. Is the retriever bleed-off valve carefully opened to release the
pressure?
