6. CASH REGISTER OPERATION – TRACKING SYSTEM
The tracking system serves to record individual registrations. A TRACK can be opened at any time, registered and
corrected with PLU or DEP and the track can be closed again. The final receipt is printed out after the track has been
closed.
Comment:
All the transactions described in Chapter 5 are operated identically in connection with the tracks. An
exception is that the first step is always to open the track and the final transaction to close the track.
6.1 Opening and Closing Tracks
The cash register can open a maximum of 50 tracks. All transactions are always carried out after opening a track and are
concluded by pressing the Track key. By opening another track, the track currently open is closed and the order ticket is
printed.

On reopening the same track, the individual registrations already recorded can be viewed in the alphanumeric display and
scrolled through using the
A track view can be printed out on the ECR printer at any time. This does not concern a bill but simply a "review of the
track". For this reason, the view does not have the attributes of a bill and is marked by the term "REVIEW".
