4.4.0
Placement of laser keys in the AC jaw
The AC jaw makes it possible to duplicate two different types of keys
with a single jaw.
This is why it is structured with a double clamp, to position the keys to
be duplicated on the left side with jaw A and the key blanks on the
right, with the C jaw.
The AC jaw also included some magnetic stops on the tip, to be placed
in different positions in the jaw grooves.
Note: The jaw can be placed in two positions, one being the
original key decoding position, the other the key blank
cutting position.
4.4.1
Positioning of the keys for decoding purposes
• Place the jaw (1) in the decoding position, namely, the first
locking seat, identifiable by an audible click along the
track, and lock it in place with the relevant lever (2).
• Place the original key in the jaw side corresponding to the
key to be duplicated (A or C).
• Place the stop (3) and bring the key flush to it, as shown on
the display (ref. X).
• Rotate the knob (4) to lock the key in place and remove the
stop (3).
