Configuring the reader (DIP switches)
ON
The reader has 8 DIP switches. Each switch is numbered from 1 to 8.
With the DIP switches it possible to:
–
Set the interface type
–
Set the credential technology
–
Enable/disable automatic mode (Auto on / Auto off → reads either
Bosch code or CSN)
–
Enable/disable CSN reading (reads either CSN only or Bosch code
only)
–
Set the address of the reader
To change the reader configuration:
1. Power-off the reader.
2. Set the DIP switches correctly.
3. Power-on the reader.
Notice!

Any changes that are done to the DIP switches while the
power is on are not considered.
