Adjusting the height of the feed dog

The standard height of the feed dog (1) when it is raised
as far as possible above the surface of the needle plate
is as given below.
• 1 mm (Z-8550B)
• 1.1 mm at front 0.9 mm at back Z-8560B

Turn the machine pulley to move the feed dog (1)
to its highest position above the needle plate.

Tilt back the machine head.

Loosen the screw (2).

Turn the pin (3) to move the feed bar (4) up and
down in order to adjust the height.
5
Tighten the screw (2).
