6-3. Adjusting the feed dog height

1. Turn on the power.
2. Turn off start backtacking, best PFM mode, slow start and
special locus.
3. Set the feed pitch to 4 mm.
4. Press and hold the ENTER key (1) and then press the
SEL key (2).
* The standard height of the feed dog (3) when it is raised as
far as possible above the surface of the needle plate is 1.0
mm.
5. Turn the machine pulley to move the feed dog (3) to its
highest position above the needle plate.
6. Tilt back the machine head.
7. Loosen the screw (4).
8. Turn the feed lifting shaft crank (5) to move the feed
bracket (6) up and down.
9. Tighten the screw (4).
10. After adjusting, press the SEL key (2).
