BWT AQA Detector: Quick guide
Mode of operation and function (EN)
1. If everything is okay
If everything is okay, the Alarm lamp on the AQA detector shines green.
2. In case of leakage
a. If the AQA Stop Floor Sensor gets wet, the solenoid valve closes and the
Alarm lamp turns red.
The AQA detector shuts down the water supply.
b. Find the reason for the leakage and repair it
c. Wipe off the AQA Stop Floor Sensor.
d. Switch off the power to the AQA Detector in order to reset the water alarm.
e. When the Alarm lamp has switched off (this takes approx. 15 seconds), switch
on the power to the AQA Detector.
f. The solenoid valve opens and the Alarm lamp shines green.
3. Power failure
there is a power cut, the solenoid valve closes and then opens when the power

comes back on.
4. In case of water damage
Contact your insurance company.
