Assembling/Disassembling/Emptying the Dust Collection Bag
Always use the dust collection bag (8) when sanding.
1. Place the dust collection bag
(8) onto the provided exhaust
connection. Push the bag up to
the end into the housing.
2. To remove the dust collection
bag, just pull the bag out-
wards. Preferably clean the
dust collection bag and the
exhaust connection
housing after each use. By doing this the dust collection bag can be easily
inserted and removed.
3. For emptying the dust collection bag, just tap out or, if available, clean with
compressed air.

Switching the Orbital Sander ON and OFF

1. To switch on the machine, push the ON/OFF trigger (1) in direction I.
2. To switch off the machine, push the ON/OFF trigger in direction O.
After switching off and before putting down the machine, allow the motor
come to a complete standstill!
Hold the machine firmly with your hand when using and whenever possi-
ble, move the machine in a steady motion parallel to the surface. By doing
so, you will avoid grooves or hollows on the surface. You can hold the
machine while operation on the handle and the gripping surface or on the
handle and the auxiliary handle.

Adjusting the Auxiliary Handle

1. To adjust the position of the auxiliary handle
slightly loosen the locking screw (6) and turn
counter clockwise, Now tilt the auxiliary
handle up or down, according to the desired
working position for your work. The auxiliary
handle can be engaged in 3 different posi-
tions.
2. Re-tighten the locking screw (by turning
clockwise).
