Sanding

The rotary sander is designed exclusively for dry sanding materials such as
wood or plastic or for preparing surfaces prior to painting. It is not designed for
wet sanding.
1. Press the ON/OFF switch (1) before setting the sander carefully and
slowly down on the surface.
2. Guide the sander over the surface in circular motions. Excessive force
applied to the sander will only lead to increased wear of the machine and
the sanding disc, but not to a quicker or better finish.

Setting the Rotation Speed

With the speed setting knob (3) the desired rotation set can be set before and
during operation. The recommended speed depends on the machined material
and must be determined during use.
1. Turn the knob (3) towards (+) to increase the speed.
2. Turn the knob (3) towards (-) to decrease the speed.

Emptying the Dust Bag

Empty the dust bag after 5 - 10 minutes of working for trouble-free operation.
1. Turn off the sander and pull the power plug.
2. Pull the dust bag off (5) off the flange (4). Empty the dust bag. For further
operation, reattach the dust bag.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Before undertaking any work on the machine, pull the power plug.
Use a soft cloth to clean the machine. If the unit is severely soiled, moisten
the cloth with mild detergent. Do not use aggressive chemicals in order not
to damage the surfaces.
Make sure that liquids of any kind cannot enter the housing and do not
immerse any part of the machine in liquids.
Always keep the ventilation louvers clean and free from foreign objects.
